Sometimes we get frustrated with our lives, with work, with family, with everything. Sometimes we forget that life isn’t meant to rush through. Sometimes we forget to live in the present, enjoying what we have, what we have worked for, what has been given to us, what has been put before us. Sometimes we forget to feel love, to show love, to receive love. Sometimes we forget that a small act of kindness shown by someone toward us is meant to bring us joy. Sometimes we’re in such a rush that we don’t notice that we have people around us that love us, care for us, and are willing to do anything for us. Sometimes we forget to stop and smell the roses.
“Don’t hurry. Don’t worry. You’re only here for a short visit. So don’t forget to stop and smell the roses.” ~Walter Hagen
