Social Media…More Than Just A Conversation

With all of the talks about social media, social marketing, and social networking, is there something getting lost in the message? Sarah Goodall believes so, and so do I. I have written several posts about social media and how to manage it (i.e. engage your fans or customers, don’t sell to them); however, there really is so much more
that you can do with social media than just start a conversation. If you are truly listening to your customers, you will see great ideas (yes, from your customers) that are born and service opportunities to your customers. If you listen hard enough, your customers will tell you exactly what they want. After all, you are catering to them, so why not give them what they want?
