Going Back To School

It will be no surprise to those who know me, but I am going back to school…again. When I completed my Master of Science in Psychology degree I swore of school…well, that only lasted about a year. WOW! Has it been that long already? Well, it’s actually been one year and two months. My, how time flies when you’re having fun!

This time I am going back to get my Graduate Human Resources Management Certificate. It’s only a 7 ½ month program, but well worth the time to better my career and give me a definite purpose and goal in my career path. For so long I have been Jack of All Trades, Master of Most J. Now, I will have one more Master to add to my list.

I do have to say that I definitely could not do this without the unwavering support of my
husband. He has stuck by me through several degrees now and many, many years of schooling. He is absolutely wonderful, and someday I can only hope that I can repay him for everything he has done for me. As a matter of fact, I know that I will. I don’t know how yet, but I definitely will!

Oh, and I can’t leave out my wonderful children. They are so great when I’m in school and
I have no doubt that they will be this time as well. They pitch in to help fill some of my role as I sit behind the computer day after day and type away.

With all of this said, I will most likely slow down my posts; however, I will still attempt to post at least something everyday (with the exception of Sundays).

  1. 🙂 Congratulations! It's a great decision, you'll of course do a fantastic job. I'm thinking how lucky the people and companies you will work with are…and they don't even know it yet! But they will soon! Here's to a wonderful 7 and 1/2 months, and to another success on your long list. It's impressive and inspiring!

    1. Awe, you’re so sweet! I definitely have a ‘full’ resume, don’t I? But, going into a specialty field will definitely help to me excel in a specific career path rather than being all over the board with what I want to do. Having a specific goal is the start to a long, fulfilling career! 🙂
